Our Eney website uses cookies and similar technologies (together, “cookies”). Insofar as those cookies are not strictly necessary for the provision of online services, we will ask you to consent to our use of cookies when you first visit our website.
This cookie notice aims to give you information on how MacPaw (“MacPaw”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses cookies and other tracking technologies when you run this website. It applies to the eney.ai website and its subdomains, including app.eney.ai (together, the “website”). Section 7 explains the similar technologies used in the Eney apps. 2. What are cookies
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used by online service providers in order to (for example) make their websites or services work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information. We also use similar technologies, such as tracking pixels, tags and local storage, which work in a similar way. We call all of them “cookies” in this notice.
Cookies required for the website to operate properly are allowed to be set without your permission. All other cookies need to be approved before they can be set in the browser.
We may use Cookies for a variety of purposes and to enhance your online experience, for example, by remembering your log-in status.

3. What сookies we use and how to adjust them
You have the choice whether to accept the use of Cookies and we have explained how you can exercise your rights, below.
Cookie Consent Management Tool: We use CookieYes tool for this website 1) to inform users about the use of cookies and other technologies and 2) to obtain their consent, if necessary, to their use and to the processing of their personal data through these technologies, 3) to manage and document. This is necessary in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 Letter c) GDPR in order to fulfill our legal obligation in accordance with Article 7 Paragraph 1 GDPR to be able to prove the consent of the users. CookieYes is an offer from the provider CookieYes Limited (3 Warren Yard Warren Park, Wolverton Mill, Milton Keynes, MK12 5NW, United Kingdom, company number 13074037, VAT number GB381305513). CookieYes stores information about the categories of cookies used within our online offering and whether users have given or withdrawn their consent to the use of the individual categories. The data is stored in a cookie (so-called opt-in cookie) in order to be able to assign the consent to a user or their device. The duration of storage of the consent is up to 1 year 1 month 4 days. Here, a pseudonymous user identifier is created and stored with the time of consent, information about the scope of the consent (e.g. which categories of cookies and/or service providers) as well as the browser, system and device used.
Specific cookies used: Users can find details about the cookies used within our online offering, in particular information about the type and functionality of the cookies, the storage period and the respective provider, in the CookieYes Consent Banner.

4. What cookies are stored by service providers
Our service providers use cookies and those cookies may be stored on your computer when you visit our website.
We use Google Analytics on our website. Google Analytics gathers information about the use of our website by means of cookies. The information gathered is used to create reports about the use of our website and send analytical events about your use. We use Cloudflare on our website. Cloudflare places cookies in order to ensure a webpage loads correctly and securely, identify malicious visitors, provide you with a consistent and efficient experience, provide necessary security settings and reduce the chance of blocking legitimate users. We use Hotjar (Hotjar Limited; Registered Office: Dragonara Business Centre 5th Floor, Dragonara Road, Paceville St Julian's STJ 3141 Malta) for measuring and analysis of your behavior when using the Site, as well as improve your overall experience with our Site and products. We use Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited) to load some of the tools described in this notice.
We use YouTube (Google) to show embedded videos on our website. When you consent to the relevant cookie categories, YouTube may set cookies on your device, for example to measure bandwidth, support load balancing, track views of embedded videos, protect against fraud and manage feature rollouts. See the Google Privacy Policy. The cookies categories are: Functional, Analytics, Performance and Advertisement.
We use Google Ads conversion tracking (Google Ireland Limited), including enhanced conversions, to measure the results of our advertising. For enhanced conversions, Google acts as our processor (see the Google Ads Data Processing Terms). For other Google Ads conversion data, Google acts as an independent controller (see the Google Ads Controller-Controller Data Protection Terms). Data may be transferred to Google LLC (USA), which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We use these cookies only with your consent. The cookies category is: Advertisement.
We use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) to measure the results of our advertising. MacPaw and Meta are joint controllers for collecting this data and transmitting it to Meta. After that, Meta processes it as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. See the Meta Business Tools Terms. Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA), which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We use the Meta Pixel only with your consent. The cookies category is: Advertisement.
We use AppsFlyer (AppsFlyer Ltd., Israel) on our website. When you click a Download button, AppsFlyer receives the address of the page, the website that referred you, the campaign details in the page link (UTM parameters) and, if present, ad click identifiers from Google, Meta or other ad platforms. This lets us link your visit to a later install of the Eney iOS app and to events in the app. AppsFlyer acts as our processor. The European Commission recognises Israel as providing an adequate level of data protection. We use AppsFlyer on our website only with your consent.

5. Advertising measurement and attribution
If you consent to Advertisement cookies, we record which of our ads or pages led you to Eney (for example, through an ad click identifier). If you then download Eney, we may link a download identifier to the identifier from this website, together with events such as download, sign-up, trial start and purchase. We do this through AppsFlyer, our attribution provider (see Section 4), and share these events with Google and Meta so they can measure our ads. We do this only with your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we stop sending new data from that point; data already shared remains with them. How long we keep this data is described in Section X of the Eney Privacy Notice.
6.How you can manage cookies settings
Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies and to delete cookies. The methods for doing so vary from browser to browser, and from version to version. You can however obtain up-to-date information about blocking and deleting cookies via these links:

7.Eney apps and similar technologies
The Eney apps do not use browser cookies, but they use similar technologies, described in Section IV.A of the Eney Privacy Notice:
- Installation identifier (Mac and iOS): a random ID that counts your free requests and records your privacy choices when you use Eney without an account.
- iOS only: Google Firebase (push notifications, crash reports and remote configuration) and AppsFlyer (measuring which advertising campaigns lead to installs, sign-ups and purchases). Through AppsFlyer, we share install and in-app events, such as sign-up, trial start and purchase, with Meta and Google so they can measure the ads we run on their platforms. If you installed Eney after tapping an Apple Search Ads ad in the App Store, Apple tells us, through AppsFlyer, which campaign led to the install.
8. How long will we store your cookies
Cookies will be expired according to the retention schedules set forth in CookieYes Consent Banner.
9. Your rights and complaints
You have the rights described in Section XI of the Eney Privacy Notice, including the right to object and to withdraw your consent. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in particular the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus or the authority where you live or work.
10. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when we change the tools we use. The “Updated” date at the top shows when the latest changes were made. If a change needs your consent, we will ask for it again through the cookie banner.
